Tampa News Force John Jacobs Featured on Identity Tampa Bay’s Clark’s Comedy Corner

Identity Tampa Bay Interview with John Jacobs

Clark’s Comedy Corner | Tampa News Force’s John Jacobs

Anybody interested in making it in almost any field in today’s multi-media world needs to be able to do a lot of different things well. The definition of “making it” is fluid, depending on an individual’s subjective criteria.  But while specialization is nice, utility players create more advantages for themselves.

John Jacobs is a UT graduate, originally from Chevy Chase, Maryland. He’s been doing stand-up comedy since 2007, when he was 18-years-old. Since then, he’s appeared on two MTV reality shows, “Are You The One?” and “The Challenge”.

While continuing his stand-up career, he’s also produced, written, acted in and directed several sketch comedy videos and short films. He also recently released an album of original (comedy) songs titled “Summer At Southside” and he fronts a (comedy) news organization known as “Tampa News Force”.

All of these elements will be on display at the Improv in Ybor City on Thursday, May 31 in “Tampa News Force Live!” (DISCLAIMER: I’m performing at that show, so this is something of a shameless plug).

John is a comedian with a lot of hopes and aspirations.

He’s a busy guy, but we were able to pin him down long enough to talk about all the different things he has going on.
