Robinson Survives ‘Incident’

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson was hospitalized and treated for burns on Friday after an “incident” at a truck show while on the campaign trail last night, a campaign spokesperson told multiple outlets.

The controversial GOP gubernatorial nominee suffered burns to his hand from a truck at the event. The campaign described him as being in “good spirits” despite the hospitalization.

“They threw a truck at him! A really, really hot truck,” said campaign spokesperson Colleen Matchbox. “Luckily, it only hit his hand.”

It is being reported that in spite of the incident, Robinson will not change his opinions regarding truck control.

The vehicle in question is registered to Tampa resident Larry Hotwheelz for the sake of qualifying this article as local.

“As one would expect from Martin Luther King on steroids, or the even more heroic Donald Trump, Lieutenant Governor Robinson survived and has vowed to never stop fighting. And if people continue to insist on labeling him a pervert with morally repugnant views, he will survive additional assaults like this in order to engender some level of sympathy, so I guess we can look forward to doing one of these again soon,” said the spokesperson who then ran out into traffic in order to kill herself.
