Tampa Man Doesn’t Understand Where Grandkids Getting All This Weed

George Blurdsworth of Tampa keeps catching his grandchildren using marijuana and he doesn’t understand why.

“It’s an illegal substance. Nobody should have it. So where in the world is it coming from and how are they getting it?” he said. “It doesn’t make any sense.”

Megan, 15, and Tyler, 13 are the children of Blurdsworth’s son Kevin and his wife Gretchyn. They typically stay with Blurdsworth at his home on weekends so their parents can spend time with each other.

“They sneak off and go behind my garage. The first time I caught them, I took that stuff and flushed it down the toilet, thinking that’s the end of that,” he said. “They were mad, but the next day they had more. How??”

He said he’s afraid that the children are on their way to becoming full-blown drug addicts and has brought the matter to the attention of Kevin and Gretchyn, who fail to share the same sense of alarm in his opinion.

Wracked with anxiety over impending grim fates for his beloved grandchildren, Blurdsworth spends much of his time trying to figure out what is happening.

“Oh dear God, you don’t think they’re hanging out with jazz musicians, do you?”
