Tampa News Force publishes fucking profanity in headline

Earlier today, as in just a second ago, local news media outlet (the best one really, if we’re being honest), Tampa News Force published an article (this one) with an obscene word displayed prominently in the headline.

“An explicit headline was recently attached to an article about attaching an explicit headline to an article. We are looking into this issue and apologize for the profanity”, said Senior Supreme Executive Premium Content Editor Clark Brooks, who also wrote this article. He added, “We have no idea what the fuck happened”, which is obviously not true because he did it intentionally, inspired by the Tampa Bay Times sending out a push notification via Twitter earlier today that said, ‘look a fucking title’ with a link that led to a page with that as a headline for something listed as ‘Turtle Fake News’.

“We take our responsibility in reporting the news VERY seriously and that is definitely not the kind of fucking language we use”, he said, refusing at this point to even offer a shred of pretense about taking it seriously.

“It was not sent by a TNF employee and it came without warning or consultation with us,” Brooks added in a flat-out lie. “We have alerted the made-up company we’re blaming this on and are in vigorous internal conversations with them to prevent any recurrence.” When asked how vigorous those conversations are, he replied, “Pretty fucking vigorous”, which renders this whole thing even more silly and arbitrary than the rest of the content we publish, which was previously believed to be fucking impossible.
