FDLE opens food truck
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, a state-wide investigative law enforcement agency within the state of Florida, has converted some of their mobile crime lab units into food trucks.
“Now that crime is illegal, we expect fewer people to be doing it”, said agency spokesperson Deirdre Callahan. “Because of that, we’re pivoting and reallocating resources in order to continue supporting our mission of promoting public safety and strengthening domestic security by providing services in partnership with local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies to prevent, investigate, and solve crimes while protecting Florida’s citizens and visitors.”
“Obviously, the best way to do that is selling the best doggone tostones north of the Dominican Republic at art shows, youth sports events and music festivals,” she added.
