Clearwater Man Offers Amenities to Storm Victims

Gary Rozenblatz of Clearwater has noticed many people online making their homes available to people affected by Hurricane Helene and is inspired to join them.

“Well, the offer to come over and take showers is always open, storm or no storm,” he said. “Nobody has ever taken me up on it but now, since some people are in a jam, who knows what could happen?”

“I got food. I got internet. With a webcam. I got everything you need,” he said. “But especially a shower. A nice long, hot, soapy, steamy shower. Come on over and take a shower for me. Or with me. Or whatever.”

“Also, in compliance with a court order, I’m well over a thousand feet from the nearest school, so if that’s a concern for you, you don’t have to worry about it,” he added.
