TNF Live: The Open Mic
Tampa News Force has hosted a series of open mic showcases under various different names for local comedians to work on new material. First at Pokey's (RIP) on Madison Street in Downtown Tampa and then at Cafe Hey on Franklin Street in Tampa Heights.
TNF Live at the Tampa Improv
Twice, Tampa News Force hosted showcases at the world famous Improv Comedy Club (now known as the Funny Bone). Featured performers were John Jacobs, Josh Santos, Clark Brooks, Jake Brown, Tommy Gill, Jorge Gonzalez, JoJo White and Marie Williams.
The 2000th Article Celebration
In October 2022, we threw a party for ourselves to celebrate publishing our 2000th article. We gave away free beer, presented some awards and wore costumes. We should do that again soon.
TNF Live: Late Night Edition @ The Tampa Fringe
TNF Presented this show at the 2023 Tampa Fringe Festival, which was then selected to be the first show offered a year-long residency by Tampa Fringe. Hosted by Josh Santos and Clark Brooks, guests included John Jacobs, Hugh Carrey, JJ Curry, Drew Garabo, Lauren Gray, Sean Harper, Amanda Hoffman, Katie James, Jeff Klein, Cat Lim, Luke McDermott, Roo Nafasat and Mike Rivera.
