New “Freedom Summer” Traffic Signs Coming to Tampa Bay

In honor of what Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has branded “Freedom Summer”, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be installing new traffic signs designed to be less restrictive of individual’s liberty.

“The message this summer is ‘Don’t Tread On Me’, but basically, ‘Tread Anywhere Else You Want’,” said FDOT spokesperson Bill Packsit. “Because nobody can tell you what to do. Except the government but it’s Freedom Summer, so go nuts out there.”
