Grown Ass Tampa Man Heckles Little Leaguer

Following a 1st inning bases-clearing triple by 8-year-old Tyler Hershsquirtz of the West Tampa Little League Dodgers last Saturday at MacFarlane Park in Tampa, he was heckled in his next at-bat the following inning by 34-year-old Justin Plabbleden.

“Over-rated! Over-rated!”, chanted Plabbleden all by himself while clapping his hands.

“Overrated? He’s eight,” said Hershsquirtz’s father Greg. “It’s not like scouts from different pro leagues all over the nation are raving about him.”

“Although, maybe they should be; did you see the way my boy smoked that pitch?” he added.

“I’m just trying to keep these kids grounded and level-headed,” said Plabbleden, attempting to justify the actions of an adult who doesn’t even have kids or any other good reason to be attending Little League games as a spectator. “He seemed a little cocky after that hit, which was nothing special considering that in every game at this level, every other hit is a bases-clearing triple.”
