Actual American Human Beings Express Enthusiasm for Impending Tough Times

Regular, real-life American people are very happy with the direction being taken by the incoming Presidential administration and are giving the members of that administration regular, real-life testimonials to share with the rest of the American public, who may somehow remain skeptical about their prospects at this point.

On Thursday, President-elect Trump shared a story about a destitute elderly woman who couldn’t afford to indulge in a third refrigerated apple.

The day before that, pharmaceutical entrepreneur and co-leader (along with Elon Musk) of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, Vivek Ramaswamy tweeted on X the story of a conversation he had with a federal employee.

“Just got approached by a federal employee who asked for a selfie & shared how much she appreciates DOGE: “it has to happen & if I get fired, I’m ok with it.” Most humans are good people & yes that includes most federal workers too. It’s the size & scope of the *bureaucracy* that’s the problem.” – Vivek Ramaswamy, on X

“Wow, that is remarkable,” said Mike Swingle of Tampa. “Even though it sounds like something that no one with a government job and really good benefits, or any job at all at this point, would ever say aloud, let alone to someone who could take all that away from them. But he tweeted it so it must be true, I guess.”

“I mean, if that’s bullshit, it means that it’s reasonable to assume that other things they’ve said are bullshit, right?” he added. “Because in the big picture, these aren’t even things that are really important, so why bother to lie?”

“I believe him because I agree; most human beings are good,” said Donna Glumdhurst of St. Petersburg. “And regardless of whether or not we voted for Trump, it’s in our best basic interests that he and his administration are successful, even if that success comes at the expense of our best basic interests.”

In related news, Musk has yet to make the claim that a small child in Ohio approached him recently to ask him to kill his puppy so the illegal immigrants wouldn’t eat it, but that’s probably happening soon.
