Bag of Garbage Just Lives Here Now
A bag of trash is lying in the middle of the street near the intersection of North Morgan and East Estelle Streets in Tampa Heights.
It may have fallen out of a truck or someone may dropped or thrown it there. Regardless, it’s staying right there.
“It’s not in an official pick-up receptacle so the sanitation department isn’t going to get it. And it doesn’t seem like it should be something for the police to deal with,” said nearby resident Alice Witherworth. “And I’m certainly not going to do it.”
“I mean, there are no dumpsters close by,” she said, gesturing to one about 30 feet away. “So yeah. That’s not where that goes but that’s where it is and I guess that’s where it’s going to stay.”
“Welcome to the neighborhood, bag of garbage.”
