Modern Day DaVinci Spends 16 Seconds On Portrait’s Smile

Tampa’s Devin Travis, an AI artist, is proud to have completed his latest masterpiece. 

“I wouldn’t go so far as to compare myself to DaVinci, who famously took 16 years to paint the Mona Lisa’s smile, but I understand exactly how he must have felt in terms of his  artistic process,” he said modestly. “I kept tweaking it but it was taking forever! I was like, ‘come on already; I want to check my Instagram feed!’ All in all, I slaved over it for over a quarter of a minute.”

“I find something so captivating about this particular model, particularly her smile,” he said particularly. “I wanted to get it exactly right and I’m glad I was so particular about it because I nailed it.”

Since seeing the finished portrait, the model, his girlfriend Sarah, is not speaking to him.
