Social Media Influencers Pitch in on Hurricane Helene Relief Effort

As clean-up and rebuilding continues in areas impacted by Hurricane Helene, social media influencers are showing up in the area in order to lend assistance.

“We saw the footage of all the damage and said, ‘OMG look at all the damage and how much attention it’s getting,’ and I knew we had to get involved,” said Devin D’Umm, who arrived in Treasure Island late last night with her partner Justin. “Not with money or, like, lifting stuff. Gross. But we’re here and we’re doing something, which is more than most people can say. Look at us!”

“And now look at us on Insta’ and Tik Tok as we do our brand-new dance challenge we call the Helene,” she added, as the two of them Heleneā€™d down the middle of Gulf Blvd. as various recovery vehicles navigated around them.
