St. Pete Man Can’t Wait to Tell Everyone About Another Possible Tropical Storm System
Trent Doonfarth of St. Petersburg, the man behind the popular “Trevor’s Weathor” web site, Instagram feed and YouTube channel, is waiting for just the perfect gap in coverage about Hurricane Milton to point out what he says could be the next catastrophic weather system to worry about.
“It’s just outside of Bermuda or Jamaica or maybe one of those other African or Latin tourist islands where these things always start,” he said. “And this one could be the worst of all of them. You think Helene and Milton were bad? You haven’t seen anything yet!”
“We’re talking Cat 5 minimum,” he added. “Storm surge, high winds, flooding. All of that and it is headed directly at us. Like, your specific street address. Death and destruction on a biblical scale, the likes of which nobody has seen since the Bible was written.”
He then admitted that he had no idea if any of that is true.
“But it could be,” he said. “And if it is, everyone will remember that I said so first.”
Doonfarth, who is not an accredited meteorologist says he maintains the site to promote his personal hobby.
”Not weather reports. I don’t really care about that,” he said. “Getting attention on the internet is what I’m passionate about.”
