Tampa Man Struggling With Post-Olympics Depression

Tampa’s Greg Brundick who works in a soul-crushing office environment in downtown Tampa is having difficulty dealing with life after the conclusion of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

“I really enjoyed the Olympics,” he said. “The drama, the action, the pageantry. It was all so exciting.”

“Now that it’s over, all I have is… this,” he said, gesturing to a small desk covered with paperwork. “The closest thing I have to drama is I guess I could get in trouble if I don’t file these forms.”

“And here’s how much I’m worried about that,” he said as he randomly selected one of the sheets of paper, crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. “Uh-oh, what’s gonna happen? Is somebody gonna yell at me because my actions have repercussions? Raise my blood pressure? I wish.”

In an effort to bring some of the excitement he got from watching the games to his job, he’s taken to painting his face like he did while cheering for Simone Biles but with Microsoft Office logos instead of the American flag.

“Yeah, it’s not working,” he said sadly. “Can you imagine Snoop Dogg showing up here to hang out and get us hyped? I can’t.”
