Tampa Woman Finds Relative Bright Spot Post-Hurricane Milton

Pam Salisbury of Tampa has found a somewhat positive  after-effect following her surviving Hurricane Milton.

“I just got my power back about an hour ago and I went on YouTube to take my mind off things,” she said. “The very first video I selected was preceded by a fundraising ad for Sandy Hook Promise.”

“I immediately clicked ‘SKIP’ and said, ‘oh shut up; I have my own problems’, meaning my house is flooded and my car is out of gas and I have no way of getting food right now,” she said. “I always skip those ads and say that I have my own problems but this is the first time it was true! I actually am a victim!”

“I still feel guilty for being a selfish piece of entitled trash for not even listening to a 30-second plea before not responding to it, just like I always do, but at least now I’m not exaggerating,” she added.
