Architects unveil rendering of new USF on-campus football stadium

Football stadium rendering for USF

The University of South Florida (USF) chose the occasion of the football team snapping their 11-game losing streak, longest in the program’s storied history, with a 38-24 win over Florida A&M University, to show off the first model of the proposed new, on-campus stadium.

“Between budgetary concerns, the need to comfortably accommodate our typical crowd size and the standard USF Athletics vision, this is what we came up with,” said lead architect Leon Nerfberger. “It’ll be bigger in real life, of course. This is just a scale model that humans couldn’t even sit in.”

“Not much, but bigger.”
