Rays Fans Really Hate New Uniforms

The 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) season opened last Thursday and Tampa Bay Rays fans are already weighing in on one of the biggest changes in the game effective this year: the new uniforms.

“I hate ‘em,” said Tampa’s Biff Rosen, speaking on behalf of every Rays fan. “They really suck.”

Beginning this season, MLB has adopted a new template for its uniforms, designed by Nike and produced by Fanatics. The new uniforms have been subject to much controversy and criticism, including complaints that they look cheap, with thin, see-through fabric and small, hard-to-read names and numbers on the back.

“Yeah, all that stuff is terrible,” said Rosen.

“But mostly what I hate is that I have to go all the way over to the Trop in St. Pete to look at them.”

“So, same as always, I guess.”
