Recreational Marijuana in Florida Will Be on Ballot in November

In a monumental decision that will inevitably have a major impact on the lifestyles of thousands of Florida residents and countless visitors, the Florida Supreme Court on Monday gave its approval to an initiative to legalize recreational marijuana, clearing the way for the measure to appear on the ballot for the November general election.

“So weed will finally be legal?” said Tampa’s Doug Goud. “Cool.”

“But there’s no guarantee and it could be voted down and remain a crime?” he said. “Cool.”
