Restaurant names sandwich in honor of today’s Bucs game

Following a 23-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints, which cost the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the opportunity to clinch a third straight NFC South Division title and a berth in the 2024 NFL Playoffs, a local restaurant has named a sandwich in honor of the team’s effort.

“We not-so-proudly present our newest sandwich, the Big Fat Nothingburger,” said Bob Berger, owner and general manager of Bob’s Burger Barn in Brandon. “Two plain buns with no meat, no cheese, no ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise, no pickles, no lettuce and no onions, yet somehow infused with 68 grams of fat, resulting in 1126 total calories.”

“We put no effort whatsoever into serving it up with a side of Fuck You in a used diaper”, he added. “It’s not even as good as it looks and it looks terrible.”

When challenged on whether or not a burger is a sandwich, he replied, “it’s not but this team is not a playoff contender, so what?”
