Some guy in ad just talking to us like he knows us

Yesterday, presumably on thousands of Facebook feeds, some random guy just popped up and started talking to us all like we’re old friends.

“Hey guys, what’s up?” he said with an assumed familiarity one might use when addressing people they actually know in real life, before immediately launching into a sales pitch for boner pills or something.

“I just got this in the mail…” he continued, as though real people ever post videos on social media about shit they get in the mail.

Presumably, he then prattled on and on about whatever stupid product he was being paid to push and how to order it. However, that can’t be confirmed since everybody he was talking to as if he’d gone to high school with them or had been in their wedding, had scrolled past in order to see what their real friends were up to or maybe a kitty video or both.

It’s not known, nor cared about, whether he is a blood relative to the countless other anonymous tools who post videos online that begin with, “hey guys, what’s up?”

Reached for comment later, thousands of people said, “Fuck that guy.”
