Stamkos No Longer a Bolt, Franco Still a Ray





Two-time Stanley Cup winner and team captain Steven Stamkos has signed a 4-year, $8m contract with the Nashville Predators. ending his tenure with the team that drafted him first overall in 2008. He departs as the franchise’s all-time leader in games played (1082), goals (555), points (1137) and over a dozen other statistical categories.

Meanwhile, Wander Franco remains under contract with the Tampa Bay Rays and on “administrative leave until further notice” as Major League Baseball continues its investigation into allegations of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse against him.
