New York Times coverage of violent Ybor incident brought to you by Christmas tree company

Continuing the long-standing tradition of media from other faraway and bigger media markets having something to say about what happens in the Tampa Bay Area and Tampa Bay Area media reporting on that, the New York Times daily newspaper would like to tell everyone about an assault that took place recently in Ybor City, right after a Seasons Greetings message from a company that sells Christmas decor.

“We invite you to celebrate the magic of Christmas with Balsam Hill trees that come with extraordinary details, just like the extraordinary details in the graphic video from the horrific incident after a Nardo Wick performance at Club Skye in Ybor City, in which an innocent 20-year-old George Obergon was savagely beaten and kicked after approaching Nardo Wick for a photo and ended up hospitalized in critical condition with a severe concussion and brain bleeding,” said completely fictional New York Times representative Rufus Barph so the New York Times can’t sue us. “At this point, nobody knows if or how fully Mr. Obergon will recover, but I hope his family knows that the explicit video of the worst moment of his life helped sell some Christmas trees.”

“Happy Holidays, everyone!”
