Bucs win in spite of guy you’ve never heard of making it really difficult
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Washingtanon 404: Files Not Found 31-23 Saturday night, just down the street from where all that nonsense happened earlier this week.
Bucs quarterback Tom Brady had a great game, completing 22 of 40 passes for 381 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. But the Mailer-Daemons, who posted a 7-9 regular season record and only qualified for the postseason because the entire NFC East division is baby poop but somebody from it had to make the playoffs, remained competitive throughout thanks to their quarterback Taylor Heinicke, who started because Alex Smith was injured. He went 26 for 44 with 306 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
What the heck?!? Don’t act like you knew who he was before this game.
With the win, the Bucs advance to the next round and if the Chicago Bears can somehow beat the New Orleans Saints tomorrow, they’ll host the Los Angeles Rams next weekend.Who knows? Maybe the Bears have some Taylor Heinicke-lookin’ MFer and can pull off the upset. If not, the Bucs will travel to New Orleans to face the Saints.
