Corpse of police dog accidentally served at Chick-fil-A

A Tampa Chick-fil-A is under fire after accidentally serving the remains of a K-9 officer as the meat in a deluxe chicken sandwich.

“The sandwich was shining a little bit and I opened it up and there was a piece of a police badge.” Said Walter Mendrick, the unsuspecting customer who was served the faulty sandwich.

“It was clearly a police badge, so I marched back up to the counter and demanded to know what was going on.” Mendrick shared.

The manager of the Chick-fil-A is claiming that a retired police dog was adopted by one of the line cooks, and would spend time in the back of the kitchen. It still had its badge from its time working as an officer, so they let the dog wear it around its collar. The dog passed away and the line cook was planning to dispose of the dogs body after work, but one of the other chefs accidentally confused the dogs corpse with a recent delivery of chicken and put it’s body into the fryer.

The dogs remains were unfortunately served in up to 200 sandwiches, but only one Mendrick noticed because it still had the piece of the police badge in it.

A class action lawsuit is now underway from all the people who ate at that Chick-fil-A that day and are expected to be compensated with $200 gift cards to Chick-fil-A.

“F*** off, I’m busy.” Said the CEO of Chick-fil-A, eyes closed, on his knees praying.

Some customers actually enjoyed the dead dog burgers that day.

“I hope this happens more often, my sandwich was a barking good time.” Laughed a customer who asked to remain anonymous.

“I thought it tasted like justice!” Said a little girl who is too young to be named in a news article.

Will this spawn a new market for people hunting for dog burgers? Only time will tell.
