Oscars snub TNF yet again

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, California, announced the nominees for the 2024 Academy Awards and once again, for the sixth year in a row, has chosen to ignore the Tampa News Force (TNF) film “Plane Train”, neglecting to nominate the 2018 masterpiece for Best Picture, Joshua Santos for Best Director, John Jacobs for Best Actor and the writing team of Santos, Jacobs and Clark Brooks (me) for Oscars.

“Plane Train” is a look at what it’s like to do stand-up comedy on an airport’s shuttle train and shot entirely on location at the Tampa International Airport. It is widely considered to be the “Citizen Kane” of films about doing stand-up comedy on an airport’s shuttle train, shot entirely on location at the Tampa International Airport.

Reached at his home in Dunedin, Academy President and typical Hollywood elitist David Rubin offered a series of lame excuses for the grievous abomination of an affront.

“Okay, for starters, your movie came out six years ago. Also, it’s a short documentary, not a feature-length film. And most importantly, for the last time, I am not THAT David Rubin. I work at an auto parts store. I tried telling you that last year. Now get off my property,” he said unconvincingly before calling the cops.
