Four Exercises for Staying in Shape During the Quarantine
With beaches now open in Florida but gyms still closed, staying in shape during quarantine doesn’t have to be difficult if you follow these simple excercises.
1. Getting Out of Bed
Getting out of bed is a great way to work out your legs because it requires you to stand up, which forces your legs to hold up all of your body weight. Do 1 set of 1 and then go back to sleep and rest your hard-working muscles.
2. Running Away From People
If you see someone coming towards you, run away. This is a great way to get your heart rate up and intensify your breathing. If you have COVD-19, this is an excellent means of spreading it around and keeping people from being around you, making it easier to practice social distancing.
3. Putting a Gun to Your Head
Guns are heavy! Lifting a gun all the way up to your head is a fantastic way to work your upper body. Start easy with an unloaded gun. As your strength increases and your will to live decreases put bullets in it to make it even heavier.
4. TikTok Dances
Put on that Taylor Swift and go to town, baby! Write out a choreographed routine, practice it all day and then throw it on TikTok! This is a great exercise because it gets your friends involved. Do 2-3 sets of this exercise and you and everyone you know will be doing exercise 3 together in no time!
