Mayor Castor Video Game Announced for Playstation 5

Jane Game

As part of a new inclusive gaming agenda by Activision, the gaming studio behind the popular Call of Duty franchise has announced a new video game based on the life of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor.

“I have been shot at,” said Mayor Castor who previously served as the chief of police for the City of Tampa. “I guess you can say my life is pretty exciting and it deserves to be made into a video game.”

Activision says the game will be a third-person shooter, similar to Grand Theft Auto but more educational than fun.

“The majority of the game takes place during Mayor Castor’s tenure as chief of police,” said lead developer Shiney Palls.  “During our initial research, we found out that police chiefs barely do any work so we had to come up with some stuff to make it more exciting.”

While the story behind the game is based on Mayor Castor’s life, gamers will be able to fully customize their Jane Cator.

“Our character creator engine is one of the most impressive things we have ever worked on, players will be able to customize every aspect of Mayor Jane Castor, from tattoos, hair color, height, skin color, gender, number of teeth and more.” Said Palls who was walking me through a rough beta version of the game.

The first quest in the game forces players to oversee the botched execution of a search warrant on a suspected drug house. The level ended with a man getting his door beaten down and murdered over $2 worth of weed.

“This is going to be a very realistic and rewarding gaming experience and we can’t wait to share it with the world,” said Palls.
Mayor Castor: The Video Game’ is scheduled to release in Q3 of 2023 and will be available on every major console.
