Top 5 Ways To Spend A Day Off in Tampa

Ways to spend a day in Tampa Bay

Citizens of the Tampa area are blessed with perfect weather nearly every single day. Having one of the world’s premiere vacation locations in our backyard can spoil a person’s sense of wonder if they don’t take frequent nature breaks to fully appreciate where they are in life.

When you have a day off and want to spend it like a tourist we recommend doing the following:

5. Day Drinking

There are dozens of breweries in the Tampa Bay area, all within driving distance to each other. Spend your day off exploring as many of these fine establishments as you can or go the cheaper route and pick up a 4-pack of PBR tall boys and sit somewhere drinking them as fast as you can.

4. Chain smoking

Whether you are drunk or not, smoking cigarettes is a great way to pass the time. While some might opt for a fine cigar or a vape machine, a classic pack of cigarettes will run you less than $10 and depending on how fast you smoke can deliver hours of entertainment just by placing a pack in front of you at a bar somewhere and waiting for people to approach you.

3. Rob Someone

It’s your day off, you’re drunk and driving around an unfamiliar neighborhood in the middle of the day, next thing you know an Amazon delivery driver cuts you off in traffic. Do you follow the van and steal whatever they leave on someone’s porch? Only one of the many exciting things you can do if you have a day off in Tampa.

2. Spice it up

A pack of spice at any rundown gas station will run you less than $20. Roll up a whole grams worth of spice and smoke it with your new friends behind the dumpster and call it a day (because you won’t be able to move).

1. Daytime strip club

Many strip clubs offer special discount entry pricing for early birds who need some entertainment between 10 AM – 6 PM. Take advantage of these prime club hours and use the money you would for late night entry on an extra song with one of the dancers.
