Palm Harbor business doesn’t want landscaping service

Happy Nails, a full-service beauty salon on US-19 in Palm Harbor, is experiencing a surge in business due to foliage strategically obscuring a roadside sign, and as a result, does not want the strip mall’s leasing office to hire a landscaping service.

“We’ve never been busier,” said salon owner Tony Gluck. “I don’t want them to change a thing.”

One new customer, Mike Willings of Palm Harbor said he started patronizing the salon because of the sign.

“I was on my way to X-Clusive, an adult bookstore and video boutique, when I saw ‘Happy Massage and Facials’. Hell yes,” he said. “I swerved across two lanes of traffic to get in there.”

“It’s not what I came in for and that was a huge disappointment,” he said. “But my nails do look nice, so that’s good, I guess”
